For UK roofers · Model B partnership

We build websites for UK roofers at zero cost.

You only pay if it brings you actual jobs — 20% of any new work it generates, nothing if it brings you nothing. We only earn when you do, from customers you don't currently have.

The offer

Four lines. That's the whole thing.

01

£0 upfront

Nothing for the build, the design, or the hosting. We absorb the build cost entirely.

02

20% of new work it brings in

Only customers who find you through the site, its search rankings, or the quote form. Existing customers and word-of-mouth don’t count.

03

£0 if it brings nothing

If the site sits there earning you no new jobs, we earn nothing too. Our skin is in the game.

04

12-month partnership, then yours

Minimum 12 months from the first qualifying lead. After that, the site, domain, and code are yours outright — end any time, no fee. Need out early? £2,000 build reimbursement, well below market rate.

What's the catch?

Honestly — there isn't one.

Most roofers we talk to have been quoted £2,000–£5,000 upfront for a site that never produced a single new job. We watched that happen one too many times and thought: there has to be a better way.

With Model B we only get paid if you do. That changes how we build. We're not designing a brochure — we're building a lead source we're invested in making profitable. Slow site? Our problem. Bad SEO? Our problem. Quote form not converting? Our problem.

The downside for us is real: if it doesn't work, we've done weeks of work for nothing. We take that risk because we know what we can build. And because the upside, when it does work, is a partnership that runs for years.

Why this specifically works for roofers

Three things about roofing search behaviour.

70%+

of roofer searches happen on a phone

Usually outside the property in question. If your site doesn’t load fast and convert on a small screen, the lead is gone. Most competitor sites are bad at this.

Local

SEO compounds month over month

Once you rank for "roofer [town]" and "[work type] near me" across the postcodes you cover, the search traffic comes in on autopilot. No ad spend. No retainer.

1 tap

is the entire conversion path

See the work → fill the quote form, or tap-to-call. No "contact us" hunt. No newsletter signup. The customer is on a wet driveway looking up at their own roof — they want a quote, not a sales funnel.

Bricklane Roofing, East London.

Same structural bones. Your branding, your photos, your services, your city on top. The site you'd build for yourself if you had three weeks and knew Next.js.

Major cities we focus on

Dedicated pages for the markets we know best.

We work UK-wide on the Model B partnership, but these are the markets where we've optimised our process — local SEO patterns, borough-level coverage, search behaviour we've studied. If you're in one of these, your dedicated page goes into the specifics.

Outside these three? We still work with you — the offer is identical, and we'll build out a dedicated page for your area once we have a couple of partnerships running there.

The obvious questions

Answered head-on.

How do you track which jobs are from the site?
Every enquiry that comes through the quote form, or via tap-to-call from the site, is logged with timestamp, source, and the contact details. You see every lead in a dashboard. If a name comes through that’s already in your phone, that’s yours — it doesn’t count. We’re not chasing pennies on borderline calls; we want the relationship to last.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes — 12 months from the first qualifying lead the site brings in. We measure from the first lead, not the contract date, so a slow indexing month doesn’t count against you. After 12 months you own the site, the domain, and the code outright, and you can end the arrangement any time with no fee. The 12-month floor exists because we absorb the full build cost upfront — without it, there’s nothing stopping a roofer taking a free site and walking. With it, we both have a fair window to make the partnership work.
What if I want to end it before 12 months?
You can. The early-exit buyout is £2,000 — well below market rate for an equivalent custom build (£3-5k typical). You keep the site, the domain, and the code, and we walk away. The figure covers our build cost without being punitive. After month 12 there’s no buyout — full exit is free.
How long does the build take?
14 days from kickoff to a live site. Sometimes 10 if the scope is small. We send a preview link mid-build so you see progress, not just the final reveal. One round of revisions is included.
What do I need to provide?
Logo if you have one (we can design a basic wordmark for £200 if not). Photos of recent jobs (we can shoot or stock these if you don’t have them, separate quote). A list of the services you actually do and the areas you cover. Login details for your domain registrar if you already own one — otherwise we sort that too.
Can I see other roofers you’ve built for?
Right now Bricklane Roofing is the live reference build, at bricklane-roofing.clearpathwebstudio.org. Walk through it on the 15-minute call and you’ll see the exact pattern we’d build for you.
Why 20% and not 10% or 30%?
20% is the number that lets us absorb the build cost and still earn from a real, ongoing partnership. Less than that and we can’t justify the upfront work. More than that and it stops being a fair deal for you — and roofers talk to each other. Fair gets repeated, expensive gets remembered.
What if the site doesn’t bring in any work?
Then you pay nothing. Ever. The site is yours, the domain is yours, the code is yours. We’ve worked for nothing. That’s the risk we take, knowingly, because we’ve seen what well-built sites do for roofers and we’re betting on the build.
Do I have to use a specific phone number or email?
No — the quote form goes to whatever email you tell us, and the tap-to-call uses whatever number you give us. The tracking happens through the site itself, not through call-tracking numbers or anything like that.

Next step

15 minutes, screen-share, no slides.

We walk you through the Bricklane site live, you tell us whether the same setup would work for your business. If it's not for you afterwards, no follow-up. If it is, we book a longer discovery.
